I finally got an opportunity to outside and do some astrophotography last night. I selected M81and M81 as my choice of interstellar objects for capture since they were located near zenith last night. I hope you enjoy the image and the text accompanying it...
Canon 40D @Prime Focus AstroTech AT8IN 8 Inch Imaging Newtonian. Fifty One 60 second exposures at 1600iso. Twenty 30 second exposures at 800iso. Orion Skyglow Filter to reduce light pollution & skyglow.
Losmandy G-11 mounted in a Skyshed POD LX5.
