This is NGC6188, part there of. Love this area for this wall of HII and dark star forming areas...
Lots of things that are interesting, I do like the small group of newly formed blue stars off centre..

Lots of great shots on your site this being one of them.

I also like how most stuff is DIY.

Thanks for the comments Mark and Trevor..

Trevor, cheers mate... with little money over the years, it really stretches things. I think it has been good though as it makes one try to use what is around and what can be uses to do the job. 'Necessity is the mother of invention'
Bit by bit things get replaced by better kit..
This hobby is a progressive thing and good in the way that it makes you use your imagination in almost all respects.

Cheers for now

Cheers Mark for the nice comment!

Hi Trevor, thanks!
This is taken with my home made F4 10" newtonian and a SXVR-H16 camera using Astronomik rgb & Ha filters.
Here's a link to my website if you want to take a look around.. probably should include it with the images I will post here.

Incredible image Rich! Detail and color are just fanatastic, what did you shoot this with?

Thanks again Louie and Phil..!

It is a mother to get right..... I recall the last few times and to get the dark ridge to lift is hard without making it look too obvious...
My pain is the Prawn Neb.... always looks too flat even though there are some nice dark areas to use...
Excellent news Louie with the mono SBIG 8300 chip. Did you sell the SXM25c ??.... What filters are you getting?

Cheers guys!
