Don't sell yourself short
This is not that hard to do
Simply following good practices is sufficient
1) good polar alignment
2) good focus
3) separate guide scope/camera (can be very modest)
4) shoot one filter per night
5) take good flats
6) don't over-process!

The last is critical in my view

I do not:
1) deconvolve
2) use "luminance"
3) bin sulfur or hydrogen
4) use sharpening / high pass filtering etc

Make sure things are mechanically solid.

glad you like it. I had a very unexpected surprise email one day by Dr Norbert Shulz of MIT's Astrophysics department. He wanted to use that image for the cover of a book he was writing on star formation. We struck a deal: the image is on the book, I got a short byline and an autographed copy
