I am pleased with my final result here, as this is the first mosaic that I have ever planned & assembled. :-)

As has been the case recently, the data was acquired remotely using a Takahashi FSQ106 refractor & STL11000M ccd camera on a Paramount located in New Mexico. The final image is a 4-frame mosaic with each panel consisting of 8x10minutes exposures through an H-alpha filter. (BTW, I imaged this large 3degree diameter object during the most recent full moon period).

Processing was done using MaximDLPro, Registar, Gradient Xterminator, Photoshop CS3, and Noel Carboni's Tools for Photoshop. (I hope I didn't forget any of them! lol !)

While I'm sure that I will eventually revisit, reprocess, and improve this image (once I've climbed further up the learning curve) , I am satisfied that this image is decent enough to share with the talented Astrogab crowd.

As always, constructive critiques and advice are always welcome!!! :-)
