That doesn't sound like much fun at all... I wouldn't take my scopes out in weather like that. Be very careful if you decide to clean mirrors or lenses with dust like that around. Blast it with tap water first so it doesn't carve up your coating!

Conor seriously this dust is crazy. I can't even shoot Ha on it. The drought we are having makes it so I cant see the light from KAnsas City or any stars visible at all up to 20 degrees. Its crazy bad.

Dust? Nonsense. Shooting through that is probably like a _good_ night in Ireland. Break out that light cannon of yours and shoot the [OIII] and [SII]!

No we have been having a huge issue with dust and stuff in the air so Low objects in the south literally are invisible. I can't shoot anything 20 degrees or so without it being complete mud. I'm still hopeful this new moon might give me a shot at the OIII and SII
