Hey Marc, thanks man, this is a favorite place for me to take visitors from out of town, everyone does that OH MY GOSH thing not really knowing what they are going to see stepping out of the doors from the visitor center. I imagine Neil, Buzz add Mike did the same thing but nothing compared to what Neil and Buzz saw when they were doing their historic landing. The Crater was used extensively for the moon landings during training, Eugene Shoemaker spent hours of time with the Apollo 17 astronauts teaching them geology, funny as it may be he is the only human on the moon today and will be forever (his dying wish was for his ashes to someday make it there because he could not) He got his wish
