Just look at that corona. I was on http://nightskiesnetwork.com
for 6 hours observing the sun's corona on Nov. 26, 2011 and it went through some elongations, ripples and stretching.

Corona can't be seen in white light unless you are in a Solar Total Eclipse. If you were observing it for 6 hours it can't have been the Corona since a total eclipse only lasts around 6 minutes. Maybe you mean a broadcast of something other than white light.
I lucked out. Just found out that there is a solar blast heading our way on Nov. 28, 2011
