Thanks for the comments. I really set a goal of avoiding overprocessing and that includes avoidance of excessively saturated color.

I also avoid sharpening and smoothing. If I need it smoother, I take more data. Sharper comes FTP
Improved seeing or reduced image scale or both...

Nebulae don't have sharply delineated features typically.
Except in the astroimsges from some of the overprocessing Photoshop Jockeys..

Gorgeous. I love the subtle and smooth transitions in colour. It's not over-saturated. :-)

Thanks guys. The tracking works well when I am properly polar-aligned. That's a major part of the secret. With a big FOV that has a fine image scale like I get with the big 39Mpixel camera, it makes the polar alignment even more important in order to avoid field rotation.

Now that I have moderatly dark skies available, I am rediscovering the joy of RGB imaging vs emission line only....
Still I like the Eline a lot though, so I don't see giving up that method, only supplementing it with RGB occasionally. Maybe I will remain on this object and switch to Eline on it for the rest of the summer :-)
