Hey Steve thanks appreciate it. I finally got fed up w/the dullness and cranked the brightness up (trying to keep it under control lol). The best thing I did was to make a folder (Brightness Test) of a couple of pics downloaded from the site that had good balance in the presentation (IMO) ie bright but not too wild. Then I would stick a copy of my pic in to compare. W/me (assuming others) after looking at a screen for awhile everything starts looking "bright enough".

Better and better with each run. You successfully brightened the nebula preserving the detail without it looking neon. Excellent work Mr Basti!
