Switching out the DSI for the DSLR presented some balance issues, which I solved with some after-market parts.

Yeah, illuminated reticle for alignment - works great. It's a 12mm eyepiece with double cross-hairs for good precision. I always do a 2-star align, plus two calibration stars. Really helps.
