Messier 51,Whirlpool Galaxy
Image taken with Planewave CDK 20 and FLI PL16803 camera. Total 260 images taken over 47 hours. Lum, 64x10min images, R,G,B binned 2:1, 60x10 Min images each filter. Ha binned 4:1, 20x20min images. This image has been deconvolved using the maximum entropy routine in MaximDl to improve resolution from an earlier version.Also based on comments I have reworked the processing to reduce the excessive blue in the background.

This is perfect now, I guess only having control of the Hubble Space Telescope joystick offers hope to produce anythingthing better! This is just incredible, a challenge for all of us!
