The Hen's Chest. The star at the upper left is "Sadr" arabic for the chest of the hen. 27x5 min subs ISO 1600 with calibration frames applied. SVR90T 630mm FL w/ ATFF @ F/7. Total exposure time 2hr 15mins. July1, 2011.

Well, I think everyone has seen this, just in a wider field of view. Normally it's imaged with a shorter focal length and people call it the Butterfly Nebula. Normally, when it's imaged that way the crescent nebula is visible to the south. I did the imaging on this with an SVR90T @ 630mm so it chopped out the other bits. It was actually quite easy to process but I had enough data to work with, 2hr.35mins. total and it's pretty bright, about like NGC 7000. Thanks for the comments.
