hm hard question
from financial side

CCDAutoPilot 5.0 Basic $95 USD
CCDAutoPilot 5.0 Professional $295 USD
Pinpoint $149.00

ACP (includes Pinpoint as far as I know)
Basic $695
Personal Internet $895

From use side I have played a little with ACP it looks interesting but I encountered some strange errors at the first run and even more strange those errors did disapered at the second run. More I cant say, the weather here is not astro-friendly now and I havent managed to do a full run with ACP (inlcuding meridian flip).

The nice thing about ACP is that the thing is fully automated, in that it will decide to even start an imaging run you don't even have to know about it. That's kind of rad.

I lost you here
" in that it will decide to even start an imaging run you don't even have to know about it"
can you be a little bit more specific? What do you mean with no knowing about it?
From my expience ACP and CCDAP are doing the same thing, automating a photographic session.

It can sense when theres clear skies or not and make decisions to turn on the scope. Best i can tell ccdap cant.
Im going to play with ccdap for now. But acp scheduler looks like a real upgrade. Hopefully ccdap will add this type of program

you can use a skycam or cloud sensor to instruct the program to turn on the telescope. You can be asleep, it get's clear, the dome opens and goes. Kind of amazing.
