Lol, no worries...just don't rule it out. The wife and I left the East coast of the U.S. 6 years ago...just sold everything and moved without jobs or anything...kicking ourselves for not having done it sooner. Different way of life. Great skies too...some of the best observatories in the world are here....on top of a mountain....but here!
Where should you move for good skies? Hawaii! Great skies when you are away from Honolulu...and it is not cloudy! On a good night, it is hard to polar align because there are so many stars it is hard to pick out Polaris! Of course being able to go to the beach year round helps too ;)
