I love being out in my Observatory at night...
Sometimes I turn up the jams and dance for joy under the clear night skies. Sometime's you'll find me headbanging to some hard rock, other times I'm boot scootin to a country twanger, and sometimes I'm moonwalkin around the observatory on the deck. And don't be surprised when you hear Bach or Wagner's lofty tunes wafting upward into the vast emptiness of interstellar night.
I love being out in my Observatory at night...
I feel the most intense "aliveness" when I'm outside in nature watching stars or a sunrise/set or other weather phenomena or event. Or in the rain, or snow or wind.
I love being out in my Observatory at night...
Sometimes in the wee hours of the morning, just before the birds start waking up, I can feel my ancestors reaching out through time. Their ethereal thoughts mingle with mine and we converse in a manner older than speech.
And sometimes the primordial universe itself speaks to my soul and we become as one.

I guess that's why I do Astrophotography...
It's my feeble attempt at sharing my rapture and bringing our glorious universe to those who can't see it for themselves...
