Lately when I sign in to Astrogab I get an alert signal randomly throughout my session. It is a tweep, tweep sound. I have checked alerts and there is nothing there. Is this indicating users logging…Continue

Primary scope is Celestron CGE1400 in my Sky shed Pod. Use mainly for imaging at F1.9.
I recently got the CGE PRO mount and it made quite a difference. I use the original CGE mount when I travel.
I use the QSI 583 Camera with a Canon 20Da backup.

Gary, appreciate the info. This M collection you're putting together will be handy for reference, I know I will be using it. Thanks, Marc

So, when are we going to see more images? I would put some of mine up...but they are all pretty pathetic right now. I have a few more kinks to work out. I hope I can get them all nailed down before Nightfall! If not, I know I can bombard you with questions! :)

Hi Gary, thanks for the tips. If I end up going with the HyperStar I will most likely be looking at an Atik, a QHY8 or a Starlight Express. I have been communicating with Dean quite a bit at Starizona, he has been really helpful but like I say I am taking my time. My webcam thus far has realle helped with some learning curves for various things. Check out my latest post of the moon. It is a composite but the moon was all taken with my SPC900NC webcam. Thanks again Gary, I may be calling on you soon to help me with my choice. Clear Skies

Hi gary, If I can schedule the time off I will be there. A friend of mine who teaches Astronomy at SUU is going and he's been after me to go. Sounds like fun.
