Ed - I have several set-ups that I am currently working with. I (almost) always use a Canon 1000D, but on rare occasions I use an Imaging Source DFK 21.aus.618 (I am not much of a planet guy). My scopes, in order of preference, are:
1. A SkyWatcher PRO 120ED refractor; 2. An Orion 8" f/4 astrograph; 3. An AT72ED refractor; and,
4. An AT6RC Ritchey-Chretien astrograph.
All have their particular attributes, some of which I am still learning, but all are great scopes.

Welcome, Ed! It's great to have you as a member! I wish we could have imaged together when I was in the area.
