The 3 major parts of the Veil Nebula. They are not spaced correctly, of course, but the orientation is correct. The Western Veil (right image) is cropped a bit, so the scale is a bit off on that one.

These are narrowband captures using 3nm H-a, SII, and OIII filters on a QSI583wsg camera. Each channel is 6 x 30 minutes, so 9 hours per image, 27 hours total.

The initial color assignment is R=H-a, G=SII, B=OIII. However, the hue is then shifted to make a more attractive image, so it's not scientifically accurate.
