Bernard,
I used a LP filter when I took the RGB from a DSLR last year. I do not use a LP filter with the QSI though. I do image from a "RED" zone and so far am finding that I can take care of any gradient in PS. Thanks for looking!

This is a very nice rendition of the Rosette. I noticed you used a light pollution filter. Was this done from a light polluted area? If so, it is even more impressive.
