NGC4490 Unfiltered: 50 minutes total at 3366mm

Taken using 18" cass at f/7.4
all subs were five minutes, ten total subs
The seeing was quite good but the wind kept the total exposure time less than I would have liked

Excellent capture as always, Richard. I can empathise with regard to having to contend with wind.

I agree with Mark; fantastic details for 50 minutes worth.

Hey thanks Mark

Keep in mind that those are "honest details". I don't do much in the way of processing: curves and level adjustments and a bit of DDP without sharpening to expand the histogram. I don't do deconvolution or other such sharpening do-dahs nor do I do much in the way of smoothing. I just go for very natural processing.... The seeing was quite good!
