Ha, Ha, I know, one day, sooner or later, you guys will be getting on here and letting me know that YOUR observatories are on the way. And I'll be rejoicing right along with you...

I know, 'cause I drug my gear outside for 35 years before finally saying enough is enough and purchasing an observatory.

Hi, Charles, I love mine too. Remember the days when we had to make a dozen trips outside with our gear, spend an hour setting up, getting polar aligned and then clouds rolled in. Or being dead tired after spending the night in the yard, then having to tear down, then load up all that soaking wet gear and lug it back in the house.

Now, 5 minutes after I decide to go out, I'm imaging! And 5 minutes after I decide that I'm done, I'm inside getting ready for bed. No more lugging gear around, no more dew, Polar aligning? What's that?

Yep,I really love my Skyshed POD, too....

Hi Space Jockey, I already cut down the 4 large trees on my property. The remainder belong to neighbors and they won't let me cut them down.... Maybe the locusts will come and eat their trees...

Thaat is an awesome setup!!! I would chop some of those trees down, looks like a ton in the way..
