Lol, that is just what Charlie Dunlop did. Flew out for vacation couple years back, rented a place on Northshore and had his scope sent over. It was Epic!

Love your setup! I want to build something like this as a portable imaging rig... May be one day will fly it to Hawaii!

Thanks Arie. You are absolutely right about the diagonal. When I took this image I did not have any extra spacers. I needed the diagonal to achieve focus. I have since obtained some spacers and image without the diagonal in place. I am also going to start using the internal guider in the SBIG so I can stop using the secondary scope for guiding and thereby decrease the weight of the whole rig.

nice set up! why do you use that extra diagonal?
extra optical parts are not always improving the image :-)
