Thanks! The nights are pretty short here (I'm at about 46 degrees north), but with narrowband imaging it doesn't need to be very dark. This shot was made under a nearly-full moon also. One day as I was waiting for it to get dark I tried an H-alpha exposure of M16. It wasn't a great image, but the "Pillars of Creation" were clearly visible, while with the naked eye I could see only a few of the brightest stars in the sky!
