Very nice, and the results speak for themselves.

This was one of the last images I took with the Orion Starshoot Pro V2 one-shot color cam before I upgraded to LRGB imaging with the Parsec 8300M. This particular M16 was 14x8mins. All the images I just uploaded were either with the Astro-Tech AT8RC (F8/1625mm) or Orion ED80 (F7.5/600mm). The diffraction spikes are natural from the RC, I really like them. I don't like the aftermarket ones done in software personally. I have a new scope on order - the Orion ED80T-CF carbon fiber triplet (F6/480mm) that I'm *really* looking forward to using. I've hit the limits on what the 80ED can do, and want to concentrate on the wide-field stuff for a while. I can't say enough good things about the AT8RC tho. Easy collimation, and I have a fully-motorized MoonLite CS on it. Toss in the ATFF field-flattener/Parsec 8300M/2" motorized filter wheel and filters, and it's a real nice imaging platform. All the images were on the CGE-Pro mount, which I've really grown to like.
Great pack of images. I have a soft spot for M16 though. Gotta tell us what you used for these. Great detail, pillars came out well. Using a newt or are these "after market additions"....talking about the diffraction spikes. Welcome aboard!
