Despite the moon becoming brighter, I couldn't pass out on another clear night after all the missery we have had over the last months. So took on this nice barred spiral in Leo for a total of 4.5 hours (10 min subs) at ISO 800, captured on February 2 2012 by Nebulosity 2.4.4, calibrated with 15 darks, 20 bias, and 40 flats with DSS 3.3.0 (Kappa-Sigma and post-processed in PS CS 3 (Carboni and Anni's asto actions, GxT, HLVG).
Equipment used: 8" F/5 Skywatcher Newton/MPCC, NEQ6-pro/CdC/EQmod, guided by QHY5/9x50 Finderguider/PHD, Canon 350Da.
