I had the Orion Starshoot Pro V2 color cam for about 6 months and upgraded to the Parsec 8300M about 6 months ago. Going from one-shot to LRGB imaging was pretty intense. Took me almost 2 months just to figure everything out. And the processing is more complicated as well. But I think more rewarding in the sense of how much more data you can get...

No filters. Just the standard 2" LRGB Orion filters in the Nautilus wheel. They seem to do the job nicely. I don't have any other experience with other ones.

Jeff, your work really is top notch stuff. Do you use filters at all? If so which?

Thanks, I'm going to redo this one, if I get a chance. With a new refractor. Moving from the 80ED doublet to the Orion carbon fiber triplet. Should be much nicer.
