Yep, so far so good with my CGE-Pro. I've grown to like it quite a bit. I look forward to the day in just under two years when I'll have a spot to be able to pier-mount it. But until then I lug it around.

maybe they are pushing the CGE pro. Not sure why, but two telescope shop guys said the CGE pro is having issues, about a third of them. Jeff on this site has a good one, but I wonder if they are having QC issues.

Like Steve said CGE was a discontinued mount and I don't understand why Celestron stop its production. Anyway I like this strong mount. And yes mark its a Orion EON 120mm f/7.25 ED APO and a Skywatcher Equinox 80mm f/6.25 ED APO on right side. Next summer put my CGE head on a skyshed pier and built a patio around. Will Showing you some shots of my set-up facilitie, when it will be done. Clear sky...
