After suffering over six months of crappy weather, finally got out last night. Managed to sneak in 30 minutes on this target (6 x 300 seconds 70mm Stellarvue ED, ST2000xcm). Can't wait to try and put more time in.

Anyone out there have the Astrotech 2" field flattener? I tried it out for the first time last night. Would not fit into my 2" focuser in my Stellarvue or my Explore Scientific scopes. It fits in the 2" diagonal that came with the Explore, but then I cannot reach focus with the Stellavue...hence the poor stars outside center....

Six months!? Oh man I bet it felt good to get back up and running! Cool target and I look forward to seeing this develop as you put more time in.

Cool pic T, that neb must really crank you got a lot for the time. Never had a fit problem w/my AT2ff. I know sometimes on different 2" compression fittings I've had to push the brass band back (a bit), they tend to deform/conform and not spring back to its original position. Marc
