Well, its new to me! My celestron ASCG-5 bit the dust, so I had to upgrade. I got a great deal on this 2 yr old Skywatcher HEQ-5 Pro Synscan from a guy on astrobuysell.com. Every review I have read about this mount has been stellar. It is so much heavier and well-made than the CG-5. It is comparable to the Orion Sirius that I know I couple of you guys have.

Hey Trevor, glad it is starting to get warm, I was on with my brother in Midland, my friend Rod in Brampton and my Brother in-law in Ancaster over the past week and all in all the first complant was the cold. Man what a late summer. Glad it is warming up for you and I hope the clouds go away for you.

Thanks Philip! And yes it now stays above freezing at night on a consistent basis in Niagara! lol. Too bad it has been cloudy every night since this purchase... (obviously)
