There has been quite the amount of overcast here in Glendale AZ so not so great for imaging but last night there was just enough clearing for 20min to see a Moon Halo and this is the result, taken with my Sony F-828 ISO64 2" exposure

Funny, the first time I saw a palm tree was in Florida when I was 11, trip to Disney, so when I moved down here from Canada, 16 years ago I was expecting sand doons and cactus everywere, well the sand dunes are rare and the Cactus is everywhere but so are the 20 differen species of palm trees. None of them are indigenous and Scottsdale has put a ban on them to keep things natural so not to screw with nature, well the damage is done already in my opinion.
