Re-do on M81 and M82 dropped the blue background a bit and tried to tease a bit more out of M82. Looks good on my Monitor will have to check it on my laptop.

Hi Dave, I am not sure if you use PhotoShop CS for any of your processing but if you do something to try on the JPEG is Replace Color, set the fuzziness at around -35 and the select an area of empty space with the ink blotter between the stars away from the Galaxies and then use the Lightness slider and take it down to -50. The Replace Color setting can be found in Image/Adjustment. I would not say that these setting are exact but I am sure if you play with them you will find a place that you will be happy with. Philip thanks man. It still looks like the background is a tinge of blue too much.. At least on the laptop.
