The first astrophoto that I ever took was that of the Pleiades using a security CCD camera. I used the monitor from a Commodore Computer. I tracked it for a half hour and found out that the Pleiades was burned into it. So every time I view the Pleiades I smile. Thanks for sharing. Oh Yes I still have that monitor.

Thank you. Regarding the diffraction spikes, you're correct. I don't have the money to buy a Ritchey Chretien telescope and get these beautiful spikes naturally, but this powerful plugin lets you simulate the diffraction spikes of a RC telescope.
