I am pretty sure the screwhead is to blame. It has multiple facets from which the reflections can occur... I ought to take the time to fix it though.... that picture was from about a year ago. I will post another couple of them from the big sensor...

that spike is from an unpainted screw head used for retaining the filters. I need to paint it flat black...


did you look at the 37megapixel version?

Incredible image. Huge FOV. What is that vertical line above center...on the hi-rez shot it is multi-colored like a diffraction spike...
