Thanks Starhopper. The thing that surprised me the most was the amount of noise in the captures for such short exposures. I do 10 and 15 minute exposures with this camera, with seemingly less noise on the longer exposures. Sigh... Being such a newbie, I have so much to learn.

I still need to find out the name/number of that little galaxy in the lower right portion of the frame.

Thanks for the compliment Marc. My first try at this was dismal failure over over exposure. I was way too agresive the first time around. Many 60 second exposures seemed to be much better.

That Tak really does a nice job keeping those core stars intact (not to mention good focusing by the operator). Sweet, Marc
