M1 - The Crab Nebula
Decided I'd give the LVI autoguider one last chance.
Weather conditions were far from ideal (Seeing,
transparency, humidity, light pollution...)
I'll probably shoot this one again afocally (and
in focus!) next time to resolve some more detail.

I'm glad you got the LVI working. Don't change the way you are imaging like Mark said just add more subs. Please read this article, I think it will help you understand how many subs you may need to shoot if you are imaging in light polluted skies. I hope this helps because you are on the verge of capturing some great images.

Looks good, sounds like you had a atmosphere battle on your hands. I read the LVI can be finicky about the guide star brightness, looks like you got it down-good. Marc
