Got my Meade ETX-125 working under Debian Linux tonight.
The Kstars program will completely replace Autostar Suite used on a windows computer. The Linux control offers more functions and better guidance, and if anyone is interested in using BSD Unix or Linux for scope control, Here is a screencap of the setup. Remember for a serial port set it for /dev/tty1 and for USB to serial convertor set it for /dev/ttyUSB0.

HI Mark
I am using the program Lynkeos, I am hoping that tonight I will be able to actually test. I have two long USB cables going outside and of course the power strip running out to the scope and imager. Yep I remember redhat 5.1 I used it up until version 9 Shrike, and then started using Debian, which was really taking off... remember the days of compiling your own kernel? ha ha ha!
