IC 1396, Elephant Trunk Nebula-CDK20

Image was taken through a CDK20 telescope using an FLI PL16803 camera and Astrodon narrowband 3nm filters. It is in the Hubble palette and is made from 21, 20 minute Ha images binned 1:1 and 16, 20minute Sii & Oiii images binned 4:1 for a total of 53 subimages over 17 hours, 40 minutes. A synthetic luminance was created based on the Ha image and adding luminance from Oiii and Sii using the screen blending mode in PS CC2015.
