Went back to the combined image before stretching. Then reprocessed using Carboni Tools. Dimmer parts of the nebula now visible. Better color. More contrast. I feel this is an all around better image than the original. Of course, I could be wrong.

No worries Marc, your opinion is always welcome. Wouldn't have posted if I did not want it. Can only do so much with the data and may have gone too far here. Learning experience. I think I will reshoot this summer, but with longer exposures. Jeff's m16 is 8 mins x 14 and it is incredible...I know different ccd and fl but still I think I could bring out more with better data. We'll see.

Trevor, like that Fraken title. Accurate though I do see parts here that looked improved from original (the med.color dust,str color),other parts I like better in original (dk dust,overall color brtness). Just opinion, Marc

Ugh, just looked at it blown up....hideous. Keep it small, looks better, lol.
