Alistair:
Magnificent shot of VdB 149. I love these dusties. They have so much personality???. I have a shot of VdB 152 which I will post today. The only dusty that I have that is sharable.

Alistair, that is very awesome looking to me. I always like the ink blobs you guys get with your deep luminance shots. Being mostly a narrowband guy for the past 11 years (started the craze), I haven't done a lot of LRGB imaging and only some RGB type recently to any degree of serious attempt. I need to use the luminance filter more...

I haven't been on Astrogab for a while, and wow! did I ever miss the posting of some spectacular images! And this one is especially incredible!

I have seen images of VdB149 before, but there's something about your image Alistair that breathes a three-dimensional life into the monster! Perhaps it is the framing and smoothness across a large dynamic range? Wow!

This was just two nights of imaging. One for the Luminance and one for the RGB. I automated the setup so it can run all night while I sleep!

Beautiful image!

How many clear nights did this take? I seldon get more than 2-4 hours twice a month.
