The Antares region, including M4, Rho Ophiuchi, and IC4604. About 1 hour each of LRGB, shot with a QSI583 through a Tamron 80-200mm zoom lens at 200mm. The very observant viewer will note some geometric distortion, which I applied to reduce the field curvature.

Thanks, Trevor. Well, first I had to make the adapter! ;-) Yes, processing was tricky - partly because of the low elevation, but also to reduce aberrations (CA and field curvature). Gradient Exterminator for the former and Photoshop Lens Correction for the latter. Our buddy, Neil Heacock, has a similar shot done with a Canon lens, but he shot it wide open to avoid the diffraction spikes. My lens definitely would not have worked that well wide open.

Thanks, Trevor. It is a wonderful target - difficult to shoot here because it never gets above 20 degrees elevation, but beautiful.
