Marc: Thank you. Yep. I went with the T2i. I also found a company in NYC (Chrysler camera) to repair to broken USB on the 50D (that Canon refused to repair.) I should have the 50D back next week.

Fred: Thank you. The Takahashi TOA-150 really does a nice job. I'm still learning, but the quality of the scope helps a lot.

Steve: Thank you. I processed the image in PS5 twice before I was satisfied with the details.

Mark: Thanks Mark. I was surprised with the background galaxies. I hope to do at least one more session of this galaxy and see if I can coax more detail out of it.
