Hi All. I posted a statement for general discussion on why is jupiter green?. I have a celestron 9.25" sct on a cg5asgt mount. Imaging with a Orion planetary camera. Visual image is great. put the camera in and the video feed is greenish blue so are the images captured. Can't afford a better camera. I'm trying to borrow a friends original Meade DSI. I know it's not much better but at least we can pinpont if it is the camera. any suggestions?
Thanks. The Orion camera has little capture control adjustment. I am new to the camera and software so I may just be missing it is all a matter of trial and error and error and error and more trial. it would help if I wasn't running everything from battery power including the laptop so time is always limited. Tonight I'll be trying again with a Meade DSI I and the Meade software. Thanks for the input
