LOL - Hey, Russ, don't feel bad. Like I said, with only 2 hours' worth of light, the image presents a challenge.

well I've been working it on two different nights now and I can pull out more detail but I loose color. I'm going to keep at it until one of us wins... me or the image :)

Hey, Mitch - that's not bad, really. I know how hard you had to work to get that far, because the .tif file doesn't show a whole lot in the first place and it was really hard to dig the data out of it, especially with it being only 2 hours' worth of light. My end result probably has about 100 flattened layers embedded in it. My first "final" product looked very much like yours until I went back and did a little more adjusting in PSE8, so you really aren't that far away from where I ended up. Mine could stand some more work, as well.

Yes - perfect
you still have my DB info?

Comment by Jeffrey P Nunnari on April 2, 2013 at 8:34am

I captured it in RAW - do you want the Autosave file straight out of DSS? If so, I will have to Drop Box it to you, as it is a rather large file.
