Aw, you just don't know what you're missing! Snow is FUN! Besides, it gives me something to do while the astronomy gods pour out their wrath on this region of the country. Haven't had a clear night since. . . . Since? Since? Gee, I can't remember.

Just heading out, I'll try the chat when I have some uninterrupted time. I haven't used the DSLR much either, but I'd certainly use it for things like the Heart neb, M31, Lagoon and Trifid together. Can't even get close to getting them in with the sbig

Ha ha... thanks for the update..... love the photos You're on the Pacific, I'm on the edge of the Atlantic .... I'm sure it's a lot easier to observe in your area than in mine.... We now have about one foot of snow on the ground, and right now it's something line -10 F.... The positive side of this is that there are no mosquitos ! Thanks for sharing the pics...

THANKS Charlie & Trevor ; I am just a lover of astronomy; not into photography as of yet.... But willing to learn too ! My buddy, Tim Doucette, is an astro-photographer; was published in Sky News, Astronomy, and is featured in an article from David Levy in the Astronomy Magazine January 2011 edition. He has lots of info on astro-photography. His website is : www.deepskyeye.com Check it out ! Clear skies .... I am located in New Brunswick Canada, where we just had 2 weeks of storm surges all along the coast. Too bad it could not destroy light pollution istead....

HI Trevor....; Where are you located ? Are you all in California ?
