I'm located at 44.06N and the event was only available in the area due to heavy rain storms and rapidly setting sun. Thank you for commenting, I am just learning and am using equipment that would not be considered suitable for visual use only. I am pleased with some of my captures.

Ok, you are either considerably north or considerably south of latitude 42` north, as the transit is way higher on the Sun's disk than my images taken at the stated latitude. (I never was very good at figuring out who sees what where.) It was a remarkable event, no?
