Messier 42 LRGB&HaOiii
This image is a composite of an LRGB image and and two HaOiii images that were blended in using the lighten blending mode in PS5. The LRGB image was done as L 20x5min and R,G,B 20x2.5min binned 2:1. The first HaOiii image was Ha 9x10min and Oiii 9x5min. The second HaOiii image was Ha 4x1min and Oiii4x0.5min binned 2:1. The second image was a short exposure to capture detail in the trapezium.
The equipment was a Takahashi FS152 and FLI Proline 16803 with FLI LRGB filters and Astrodon 3nm Ha,Oiii filters.
