This is an image of NGC2264, also known as the Cone Nebula. This is an emission nebula about 2,700 light years away in the constellation Monoceros. This image is part of the nebulosity surrounding the Christmas Tree cluster. You can see the Cone Nebula near the bottom center of the image. This image also contains the Fox Fur Nebula. This is the read nebula region just above the bluish nebulosity in the upper right of the image.

Telescope: TEC-140 (F7)
Camera: SBIG ST-8300M
Mount: AP900 GTO
Luminance: 17x20 minutes (binned 1x1)
Red: 8x15 minutes (binned 2x2)
Green: 8x15 minutes (binned 2x2)
Blue: 8x15 minutes (binned 2x2)

It's not a mosaic. the FOV is about 60 arcminutes by 40 arcminutes.

Very nice! What would you say the the FOV measures in this image? There's so much here it almost looks like it could be a mosaic.
