The last time I did Galaxies I used a SXVH9 and AstroArt for stacking. I always had problems with all but the easy ones. Challenging is an understatement. Iused to get extremely frustrated. I did get some nice M31 images with a Canon rebel at one time using a WO FLT 110. I plan on shooting some with a C8 and my QSI 540, but not yet.

Thank you, Robert - a very high compliment indeed coming from one who takes such incredible images. I find galaxies to be the most challenging of all objects, but it is rewarding when you can get something to come out half-way decent. I had higher hopes for this image, but I am happy with it nevertheless. I just need to learn how to stack multiple Autosaves from DSS over multiple nights to get more out of my imaging. Thanks again!

Very nice. I need to get back to shooting some galaxies. Good capture and color.
