17 inch AG Optical iDK. Just opened. Heavy to lift up and mount, took two people but I got it up.

Thanks Greg. Tell you what, Gendler telescopes at .4 arc sec image scale so i'm feeling ok!! LOL. My entire deal is just to get highly magnified far away stuff, and this will do that. I'll upgrade CCD's if needed down the road a bit, for now I'm just excited to go after unique galazies and small nebula.

Very nice, Charles. This comment should be in green!

Until you get a bigger CCD you can always do mosaics. The spot size seems to be a pretty good match to you QSI 683, it just covers a very small portion of the image circle.

yeah it is. I'm excited to shoot next week. Having fun setting up the observatory. New computer coming, and I'm making a caddy type thing to sit around the pier to hold wired etc. Going to be really organized and clean looking, I'm excited.

yeah but my camera isn't good as the image scale is so small for this scope. So it'll take time for me to upgrade CCD's but when I do, then I'll unleash this thing fully. Right now I'm stoked, only one big purchase to go.
