Martin, I too know photoshop very well as I am a professional graphic designer:) And yes the previous owner of the SN6 OTA upgraded to the 2" focuser and I'm not complaining.

Thanks Trevor, we are both at an early stage of the learning process! I know Photoshop really well because of my profession but in terms of astro-imaging, I just can't wait to get my hands on some more serious equipment... did you get the SN6 OTA used with the nice focuser? It is a very cool scope and one of the few good ones that is affordable... good luck with it!

Hi Martin. I have just started using this setup, so far its been great! I am very happy with the results I have got so far but I still have a lot to learn. I will keep you posted! You have some amazing photos on your profile by the way. Keep up the great work:)

No its actually the Celestron CG-5 mount (NexStar) I still have lottttss to learn and experiment with!

Is it the Autostar system? I have been thinking about getting one of these..they look awesome!

I am busy right now hooking up my Meade etx 125 to my linux laptop which has a replacement for autostar suite called K-Stars. We are cloudy here tonight for the first time in a month, so I have time to work on the computer control stuff.

Hey thanks guys! I got to look through this thing for the first time tonight... also first time with a motorized mount. It was so cold and windy I had to pack it in early but I can't wait to start imaging.
